I must say, this shoot was not your average day at the beach. I woke up around 7:00am to travel towards the coast to meet model Tina Tran and make up artist Legend. We planned to arrive at Cape Kiwanda around 10:00am. Upon my arrival, I found myself traveling down a road, which quickly turned to sand. I called Tina to be sure that I was in the correct location. Tina answered and said "well, we actually went down to the main beach and I am stuck in the sand." I quickly walked back to my car and made my way to the Pacific City beach.
Luckily, they were easy to find as there were not many other Lexis sedans stuck in the sand. Tina was covered in sand from digging trenches around her tires and we got plenty of odd stares from other beach goers. After awhile, we found luck and were pulled to safety by some good samaritans.
The adventure of the shoot did not stop there. We soon were balancing on the edge of cliffs and scaling walls of sand. This was the kind of adventure that I so much appreciate on a shoot.
Thank you Tina and Legend for your talent and patience. Another big thank you to the good samaritans who helped out!
We even got some of the crew!
